About
Placeholder About copy — replace with your own. This page runs at roughly the length of a full personal About so you can see how a longer piece sits: how the measure holds over several paragraphs, where the eye tires, how the headings and spacing carry a longer read.
The first paragraph sets the scene — who you are in a sentence or two, and the one thing you most want a stranger to know. Keep it plain and specific rather than broad; it earns attention for what follows.
The middle carries the substance. This is the room for the longer story: what you've worked on, what you care about, the through-line connecting the ventures and the writing elsewhere on the site. It can run to several paragraphs without strain, as this placeholder is doing, as long as each one moves forward rather than restating the last. A reader who reaches the bottom should understand not just what you do but why.
Toward the end an About page turns outward — what you're looking for, who you'd like to hear from, how to reach you. A clear, low-friction way to get in touch belongs here, close to the words that made someone want to.
For now this is only holding text, sized to the real thing. When the structure looks right, write over it in your own voice.
